Not much today
I thought I was ready to resume doing my posts normally it turns out I still have a way to go. I went to see Kay yesterday and felt ok but I overdid some exercising . I seemed to have had a relapse. So back to bed as I have scheduled a trip tomorrow. I got to meet with Bonnie and Loren twice on their trip down here,. Bonnie seems like a down to earth girl and I hope her and Loren's relationship lasts a lifetime. /weather is good and I am missing a good opportunity to get outside and enjoy it.

Nice visit today and really big BIG news
Full moon tonight or very close. Very normal visit today. Kay was in her room but not asleep. I gave her the usual truffles and a graham cracker brought by Tom yesterday. We walked to the hall where the iron furniture is and we sat for a while. I had combed her hair although it might have been combed sometime earlier.
I thought I was finished with the video I have been working on for a couple months. I heaved a sigh of relief and rendered it for what I thought was the last time. But when I looked at the result the characters were too narrow. If I send this out anyone who gets it should put their TV aspect ratio to the widest to minimize that effect although I may go back and send an earlier version as I have done already which is not rendered this way. I am tired or working on it. I wanted this version because I had found some home video that I had added love songs to with singers such as Tom Jones, Englebert Humperdinck and some other famous singers. That is too far back for Loren and his generation so he has probably never heard of them. I take that back I am sure he has as he was interested in Swing Music so he may have heard of them. I met Englebert Humperdink once at the Grovsvenor house where he was performing. I was with a private dick who was out his mind at the possibility of meeting Englebert. Both of our offices were there. I used my influence as a TV reporter to get a short interview with Englebert in the hall back stage which just made the detective's day. As long as I knew him he never forgot that meeting with Englebert

Not from where I wanted to take the picture but I would have had to walk back down the hill past the tree and building on the right. I was too tired to do that. As it was my B/G came down 100 points in less than 10 minutes. You can go blind bringing down the B/G too fast. Not much of a concern of mine though. Big news. Loren is getting married in August on the 16th. If they had postponed it a week it would be on my birthday. I wont be going as it is in Pennsylvania. Besides I don't plan that far ahead. Wont be going to the reception either as it is in Anchorage. I tried to get someone to set up a camera for an Internet broadcast of the last family wedding which was Kristina in Kansas. It shouldn't be too hard to do. Loren is marrying Bonnie Vatter of Monroeville PA. Bonnie should fit in because coming to Alaska from PA indicates an adventurous spirit which is what will be needed. I am looking forward to meeting her. For more information on the couple check out http://www.bonnieandloren.com

Dianne, Chuck and Loren visit
Dianne, Chuck and Loren finished a nice visit with us for a couple days. Loren seemed to like my pictures covering the walls of our apartment. Dianne played checkers or put puzzles together with Kay in the afternoons.
Loren saw my pictures on our walls and seemed to like them. I think they will give him an idea of what his grandma was like before old age and dementia took over.
