Kay and daughter Dianne
I wen to see Kay today and she was about her normal self for this condition. She was sitting in the TV room with quite a few others. Some of them responded when I said I was glad to see them. Kay was sitting looking ahead not at the screen.Just sitting there. this seems normal. took her outside as the weather was very warm. Later it got to over 90 in some areas. We sat and I gave her a Costco Toffee which she likes. The a Graham cracker. The aid said she took her pills and ate her meal. I check every time now as if she did not take the pills for the nurse sometimes she will take them from me.
I had to take a cab because I had neglected to get registered for the ride today on the shuttle. It is a poor substitute for transportation. the problem it is not a taxi but they can be detoured to drop off other riders or pick up and drop off even before you yourself gets to your destination. I have had it take up to an hour for this 12 minute drive to Cascade Gardens where Kay is. If we had given Kay the Anti-depressant a few days earlier I think we would still be together in the apartment because her Migriane headaches would have stopped and I could have continued taking care of her with the assistance of COPES.
I called Roger the cab driver back and I returned to Cascade Gardens Vista.
