Kay says she cant see.

Kay has not been very good today.  It is about 4:30 PM and she came in the hall outside the computer room door and said she could not see.  I don't know exactly what she meant as once before she complained she could not see but what ever it was she came out of it a little later.  I expect she will come out of this too.  Unfortunately she cant explain herself.  So I just cross my fingers and hope for the best.

I don't know if she could not see or her mind could not process her thoughts. Dementia takes so many varieties it is hard to know what is going on.  As long as they cant do any thing about it what should I do?  Her cousin died within about 3 years of diagnoses.  A little later she said she could not think.  She could do motor things like walking, talking and so on.  Maybe that affected her ability so see.

I am taking drops for my eyes because of some sort of infection it seems.  Sort of common for after operations of the kind I had.  Looking into the sun makes me almost blind.  Not bad in cloudy weather. Looks like I am looking into a bright haze.

When the Dr. or assistant called the other day, not the Dr who did the operation, she seemed to be in a haze.  I kept trying to straighten her out on where to call in the prescription.  She couldn't seem to understand "Wal mart" I had told the receptionist that morning, it was Wal Mart and the phone number. She kept repeating a different pharmacy name.
Finally I gave up and made sure she had the right phone number. Turned out OK.  But who never heard of Wal mart.  It works out ok for Kay to put the drops in my eye.
