I had a big scare today. Early in the afternoon I told Kay I was going shopping but when I went out it was raining and as the two wheeled electric scooter is not meant for riding in the rain I came back in. Kay went back to bed to have a nap. Maybe a half hour later the shower was over with and I decided to go ahead with my trip to the store. Kay was still sleeping so I went without leaving a note or other way telling her I was at the store. Coming back I saw this old lady walking in my direction and when I approached I realized it was Kay. Naturally I stopped and asked her where she was going. She didn't tell me but said I didn't want her around any more. After a little persuading we went back to the apartment. I usually leave her a big notice when I do this but this time I didn't. That is a good lesson I not forget again in spite of doing it many times before without any problems. She was about a block from the apartment. We travel this street many times so I guess she went that way because she somehow recognized it was the way we go. If I am around she doesn't want to roam so it is not a problem. Another 4 or 5 minutes she would have been lost I am sure. But that was a scare I don't want again.
Her back seems heald now and she no longer complains of pain.
