This isn't new but still hard to confront. After a movie this afternoon she tried to say something but could not get it out. Like an ordinary person tries to think of a word. In these circumstances I try to anticipate what she is thinking of and try to help her out. In this case she was trying to ask did the people make their escape. I figured out what she was trying to say and helped her out with the right word. That seemed to satisfy her. This is not a new thing but has been ongoing. I think one of the first things that goes for people with dementia.
