Kay is getting better it seems. She was up almost all day or perhaps I should say awake. This means she can go to bed but still awake. Lots of times people in this condition sleep a lot. I have not been able to get her out of the apartment yet as she hurts too much getting into the car and walking any distance. But she is getting without the walker although at times she can hardly move. But she is able to sit fairly pain free I think. Sometimes it is difficult. I think she forgets and sits in a wrong way and it hurts. For those who have not kept up with the postings here. The doctor thinks she may have a spinal or bone fracture which the x-ray didn't show. If that is the problem she will just have to take time and heal. Some time ago she fell on the foot of a clothes rack and no doubt cracked a rib. But as they don't even bind this kind of a fracture I decided to keep her here and see if she got over it on her own. Worked. What they would have done is take x-rays then send her home. So we just omitted the x-ray part.
Take a look at Bills war. His widow created a story of his service with the 39th FA in WW2. Find it at Four years in the 3rd Inf in WW2
