Kay objects

The care giver came in and said it was time for her to be checked. This is supposed to be done periodically throughout the day.  We were sitting alone in the TV room most of the others were in the activity room or in their rooms.  We were sitting next to the bathroom door and she was taken inside.  This is so common that the caregiver did not close the door either thinking as her husband it was not necessary or doing this it is so common the caregiver just forgot to do it.  For some reason Kay objected and started hitting the caregiver on the back when checking her over.  If I heard right this is not all that uncommon.  The force of her hits was not all that much anyway.  Why Kay objected so much I do not know.  Whether I was there had something to do with it or just didn't want it done is impossible to know. Maybe she still thought something was wrong for someone else to be doing this and  she  subconsciously objected.  We went to her room and stayed there the reminder of my visit.  The shuttle was late so it was a short visit.

Interesting about Kay's reaction to the helper "not closing the door"...but if it is a common occurrence....I guess it wouldn't be out of order to ask her to close the door!
Otherwise, is she eating O.K? How are your meals, Doyal?
If you hear any more about Tina or Mary, let me know!.
