French lady at Cascade Gardens
Picked up at 1 24 and arrived 1 44. Normal.
Return pick p 3 26, back home 3:57.
I found Kay going into the activity room. The caregiver had difficulty turning her around as she didn't know what she was supposed to do. But when she got turned around and saw me she burst out with pleasure at seeing me. She readily went with me to our place in the hall for a couple truffles. We sat outside in the sun then back to her room for the remaining few minutes together. Without someone or my walker to help she seems very feeble.
I ran into a new patient while waiting for the shuttle. Where she is seems to be her main problem. I talked to her until the shuttle got there. She is from France. Born in August 1937. She still had a major accent so it is not easy to understand her. But we had a good time talking about Paris. With my few times there and the War she enjoyed our talk. I am getting one of these electronic picture frames that can display slide shows and when Tom brings me his I will load it with Paris or French pictures I don't have a bunch of Paris pictures but probably have enough of France to keep her interested in looking at them. She doesn't have any relatives here but seems to have some in France. That is what she was trying to do was find the gate to get out. If I heard right she was married to a judge. I might be wrong how I heard it. Strange, she could talk but not find the gate to get out of the place even though it was right there.
