Toilet still does not flush

I went to Kay's room before I found her today and I think she  had probably been to the toilet.  It was still running and no one had apparently notified mainteance about the problem or I am sure they woud have fixed it.  It was running full bore now for almost 24 hours.   I am sure the water bill for this place is substantial seeing that most of the toilets can leak as they are no doubt very old.  But with the half inch pipe running full on it would fill a large tank i am sure. I'd look into what kind of people on the floor would let that happen and say nothing about it.  The toilet will not flush if the stopper does not work and fill the tank.  You would think they might go to someone and ask why the toilets don't flush.  

Kay was in a quiet mood today and after I took her for a walk in the halls a couple times we stayed on the bed the rest of the time. The shuttle didn't get me there until 2 so I had just an hour for the visit.  She took my leaving OK although I am not sure she fully comprehended what I was saying at first.  She waved goodbye to me so she accepted it ok.  She was nicely dressed in white although it would make her look a lot better to have a brassier on  now and then.
