First post pneumonia visit

Today I thought I was well enough to start using on Shirley's donation towards going over to see Kay.  So I got my favorite cab driver and he got me there about 1:30.  Kay was in bed taking a nap but I woke her and started to our place in the hall.  However there was someone there using it.  Before Kay and I started using it no one ever used it.  So I turned her around and we spent the next couple hours in her room.  I gave her the truffles and a cracker.  Then we just lay there which I was glad to do as I an still recovering from pneumonia.  I am on my last  antibiotic.  I will go see the dr tomorrow so I will not see Kay.  I will try longer visits and miss a day now and then.  People think I should be taking my time playing games, and other mental activities.  Somehow when we have been together just being together is the most satisfying.
With dementia they make a lot of claims but I have not seen any real evidence that it makes any difference in the end.  So just being together is important.

I've talked about the lady in the next table with the severe sore on her ankle.  I asked her today after her Dr. visit if she learned what caused her condition.  She said nothing  that they did not tell her yesterday. Arthritis, or diabetes.  It is obviously perherphial neuropathy.  Essentially her arteries and veins are plugged up with glucose. In order to find out what she knows of her condition I asked her how much insulin she takes.  She had no idea. If you are diabetic and don't know how much and kind of insulin you take it is obvious that this lady is beyond help.

I just ate some C
hinese take out instead of eating the fare here.   So  I decided to take a walking exercise like I did before my pneumonia.  It was up hill but in easy stages and the last test indicated it was effective.

Roger the Cab driver gave me the  name of a dependable driver to    use on the week end if I decide to go. Roger does not work week ends.
No pictures today,
