More fishing in Alaska to come.

I'm not done with the fishing in Alaska story yet.  I am waiting for  the digital copy of my
audio tapes I made realtime on the trip.  As it happened.  There were three three inch audio tapes I made during the trip.  When something happened I'd go to the tape recorder and record my impressions of the incident. Some years ago one of them went missing and I don't know which one was lost. My son who has the tapes is in the process of recording them and will post them for me to download for insertion of pertinent sections. The only part I remember now is a recording of the marine weather report during our crossing of Queen Charlotte Sound which you will hear if it is on the tapes.
To see the whole story go here

Keep looking for a complete update soon of the fishing trip.  I have found the audio tape I made of the trip as it happened.  I brought a tape recorder with us and as something happened I recorded my impressions of the incident.  Also there is a recording of the weather conditions from the weather bureau which I will post to give you a exact idea of what the weather conditions were. New pictures are being posted as I find them.
Keep looking.  Pleasure no end!

How Kay reads a paper or newspaper.

Kay reads.  I have never understood how much she understands of course.  Today I gave her 7 pages of the story she wrote after we helped Loyal take the boat he built to Alaska to fish.  I watched for about a half or even closer to an hour but she had not moved to page 2. Eventually she did go to another page.  Later I took her to Fred Meyer to get out of the apartment and for lunch. We go there almost every day.  She was in bad shape today.  She told me a couple times that I would have to take care of her. I am in the process of making a movie of our trip to Ketchikan and hope she can read the story she wrote.  It looks like she will be able to manage reading it. Have a nice day.

Take a look at Bills war. Virginia Sheldon created a story of his service with the 39th FA in WW2. Find it at Four years in the 3rd Inf in WW2
