Back to visiting Kay again.

A recent visit to the Tacoma Mall.

 I thought I was ok to go see Kay so I got the shuttle.  When I got there they told me she was still in bed and had not eaten  breakfast or lunch.  They had gotten  her dressed however.  I gave her a couple truffles and we agreed I try to get her to eat.  They brought in her saved lunch and she ate the cream of wheat cereal.  Then she ate about half the lunch so she did eat pretty well.  I am wondering if she did not eat because she began to realize I had not seen her for a while and missed me.  

The way they cook and the quality of the food may also be affecting her eating habits.  The puree texture of the cream of wheat was about what she has been eating.  By pureeing the cereal it comes out still liquid to a certain extent. Here, where we add our own milk and sugar if necessary, it is an entirely different matter.  The cereal is definitely not good like you get with the original cream of wheat.  They could cook the oat meal which should taste like the original oatmeal.  Here at this place they just dump the oatmeal and cream of wheat into boiling water then take it off the burner and let it cool down.  At least when I cooked my own cereal at home when it came out hard when cooling I did not cook it properly.  When we get here at breakfast   the cereal is hard.  It is terrible.  they proper way to cook Cream of Wheat and Oatmeal is to add the cereal just enough that when it cools it is still fluid  to a certain extent. The taste indicates also the it is not original  quality but some cheap Cream of Wheat knock off. It is not good.  Here the cereal is also low salt so it is worse than just poor cream of wheat.  

I made a list of foods they could puree 
potato soup
Clam chowder
bean soup
mashed potatoes and gravy,
pumpkin pie,
jello,
pudding,
Ice cream

These are things she has eaten all her life with flavoring and not salt free.  There is nothing wrong with her b/p so there is no reason for her to be on low salt. 

We need also that she gets old  fashioned cereal and not the cheap stuff she wont eat.  Cooked properly.   I am sure there are a lot of other stuff she could eat that she has eaten all her life 

I was weak as a kitten and thought I might have overdone it but now that I am back in my room I am feeling stronger even after nearly an hour at the computer so maybe I am over what ever I had.  I think I might have had walking pneumonia from how weak I got while under the weather.  My chest has loosened up and except for just being weak I feel OK. 

My prediction is we wont outlive the other by 6 months.  I have always been a sucker for a love story.  I go to the movies or now bring them home and I tear up on a good love story.  I have played Phantom of the Opera dozens of times while making my segments of the songs  in it but it still creates emotions in me as I listen to the music and put pictures to it. What a life.
