You want war?

Before you get too complacent about a war with Iran you might want to consider some ways that Iran could fight back. Remember that all it took for the price of gas to go $5.00 in some areas was for Iran to say it was halting delivery to two European countries. Before getting to more ways for Iran to fight back is to consider the claim that the US would not permit Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz. Opening the strait and ships going through it without the danger of an attack by Iran and just opening the strait are two different things. For the opening of the strait has to be without any danger to the ships carrying the petroleum. But to get to other ways Iran could fight back consider this. The military thinks they have it all figured out the ways Iran could fight back but they may be wrong on this. No doubt you have heard about the Stuxnet virus that did considerable damage to Iran's nuclear program. On the same program it was pointed out that this damage was done to a system that had as much security as could be devised but still Stuxnet in and damaged the Iran nuclear program. The program pointed out that the power grid system of the US is essentially unprotected power of the US. What if Iran is poised to damage the power system of the US if we attack them? This might hurt us quite a bit. But more. People have also forgotten that Iran has said if Israel attacks Iran the puppet regimes in the middle east will also suffer. The oil fields will be in flames within an hour from the Missiles of Iran. With the Strait of Hormuz blocked, no oil will flow and you can expect the price of a barrel of oil to go to 500 or even 1000 dollars a barrel. That would mean the economic collapse of the economy of the world. Remember too that Iraq is now ruled by Shites as Iran is. There are 15,000 Americans in the base in Baghdad who had better leave the moment Iran is attacked.

Obama did his usual bombast today at the news conference on Super Tuesday and it is obvious he is fully aware of the consequences of attacking Iran. He says he will not allow Iran to achieve a nuclear weapon. With Iran just working on peaceful nuclear devices apparently he has some time to confront an Iran with nuke capability. Unless the Israeli's do something dumb.
