Cataracts

 

I have been having eye problems like flaring when I look into the sun.  Makes it unsafe to drive as under that condition I cant see what is in the shade.   I thought it was some sort of infection causing my eyes to run. The Dr. who did the eyelid life concluded it was a cataract. I was surprised as it seemed to come on quite suddenly.  Like about a month.  Maybe I just missed it. I have known about the cataract for years though. Sight in it is 20/30 which is pretty good but they have not done a field test for how sensitive  it is. Glaucoma is continuing.  It will be a shock to doctor believers who believe pressure creates glaucoma that after my  eyelid lift my eye pressure went from about 20 to 14.  That is drastic and pretty much destroys the notion that eye pressure causes glaucoma.  It wont have any effect on treatment though because that doesn't leave many other treatment alternatives. I refer to my kind of glaucoma. Open angle.
