I was thinking that Kay's mom had been given a cheap ripoff of a windup wrist watch 60, 70, or even 80 years ago. . I had always thought it was a Hamilton. The name looked like it when I looked at it with these tired old eyes. but when I enlarged it with my scanner the name on it was H P Milton. I did a google on h p milton and all google could do was come up with HP computer and the like. However the back did have a 14k stamp which meant it was good quality. I dropped it again and the works came out of the case so I did a scan of the works. There I found the name hamilton and 17 jewels. So looks like it is a hamilton after all.
