Optometrists: pulling same old con game.

I thought perhaps.  Just perhaps there might be somethig new in the treatment of glaucoma and that maybe I made a mistake by not checking it occasionally.  But the OD at Costco convinced me that nothing new has come up.  They only thing he suggested was to have it checked and treated.  But the treatment consisted of changing the pressure.  Well, my pressure is normal so how do you change it? If optrometrists could not presicrbe changing pressure to slow glaucoma progression what else could they prescirbe?Nothing.  So nothing is new in treatment of glaucoma. The OD I went to today suggested I go to a dr and have it treated.  But treatment consisted of taking drops to change the pressure. But no real honest surveys have been done to this day as the survey he gave me was an abstract and consequently not published in a peer review.  Which means it is considered not good enough for publishing.  So much for treating glaucoma.
