Kays's dementia report: Worse

Kay seems much worse today.  She got up about 8 and took her bath quite normally

Afterwards she came to the kitchen while I made breakfast and she was able to select cream of wheat she would eat. I got out her daily pills and gave them to her asking her to take them,  She just sat there and I had to go get the cup of water.  She said she doesn't know anything. So I then went ahead and got her  cream of wheat and toast.  I told her to go to the counter and eat.  She said she does't know anything.  This reminded me of Butcher up the complex who said he had to feed his wife. That looked like something I would have to do if she didn't improve. I expect her to be able to feed herself for quite some time.  Today she is just really bad off. While I was trying to get her to eat she got me close and told me I would have to take care of her.  A couple times she said she didn't know anything.  At the moment she is eating however slowly.  But she is eating by herself..  I don't know what is different this morning.  


Some want me to move to an assisted living (room and board) Caring for a person in this condition is not assisted living.  It  is total care.  What are we looking at?  6? 10 thousand a month?
