Friday and Kidney failure

I was late getting there to see Kay today.  About 5 minutes after 2.  I gave her the usual truffles and part of a peanut butter sandwich.  I take one because about 3 my b/g might begin to go low depending upon what I ate.  If I can remember I will take one of the puddings for her tomorrow.  I didn't do that a couple days because she did not seem hungry.  But those days I was not late getting there and it might have been too close to lunch that she would not be hungry.

A quick trip home though.  Kay tried to tell me something today but I could not understand exactly what she was trying to say.  That hurts.

I ran into two people at my place who are going to the hospital late Friday.  I was suspicious that it mighave something to do with kidneys which after talking to them I found was correct.  Normally one would not go to the hospital on a Friday afternoon. There are many diaylisis clinics and lots of people who use them.  I just got out of the elevator with a lady who has had kidney failure for only a couple months. The two I refer to had no  idea of what caused kidney failure.  But before this happened no doubt when they went into the med room for their medicine and their b/g was out of sight they bothered to think of where they are now.   Some doctors say that obesity is harder to cure than cancer.  There are a number here who are in that condition ad by talking to them you can tell that going to dialysis treatment and what it means is not something they are thinking about.  But now when it happens as these  two people today are subject to   kidney failure is something they would wish they could go back and do something about.
