Kay was hungry today.

Kay was very hungry today.  She ate 3 truffles when I first got there.  I didn't have much to give her. I think a graham cracker.  We went outside for a while.  Too hot to sit in the sun.  the maintenance guy came by and told us there was a BD party but I told him I didn't see any room for us to sit.  He came back and said they would make some room for us.  They gave us a nice piece of BD cake but as a diabetic I only ate a little of it.  But no problem.  Kay ate both pieces.  That is why I thought she was hungry.  I got home at 4 pm.  I wait from 3:15 as the bus can get there that early.  But to call in they say they are on schedule if it gets there within a half hour of that. They know who is riding their buses days ahead of the pick up.  Why they do such a lousy job of scheduling I don't know.  We enjoyed the party.  These people with dementia can get up and dance to the music.  Over here where I live no one will get up and dance to the same music. People there don't realize they are sick.  Here they do.  Maybe that is the reason no one here dances.  

One new guy there keeps asking anyone if they have seen his wife.  She apparently is in a handicapped facility somewhere and not able to travel.  But they also have kids I hear.  Sad. 

I said hello to Eva the lady transferred over from this place because her dementia was getting quite bad. She seems so lost and forlorn.  I should try to speak to her tomorrow and maybe cheer her up a little.
