Very Near Miss

 This trip to see Kay today almost ended in disaster.  On the way back we almost were in a head on crash.  Two things kept us from having it.  The angle at which the incoming car was making his left turn and the alertness of my driver in seeing it coming.  It was in downtown Tacoma on Tacoma avenue and as a result we were not going very fast.  As the driver kept turning in front of us my driver kept hitting the breaks and as the other driver kept coming hitting them harder until he came to a full stop with his horn on.  the other driver kept going making his left turn in front of us but my cab driver had stopped just soon enough to avoid t by maybe 2 or 3 feet.  There may be a video of it from one of the nearby businesses.  This happened at S seventh and Tacoma Avenue.  Probably would not have hurt us as we were almost stopped although if we had had the accident we would not have been
 stopped. 

Kay was not in a good mood at first today as she was in her room with a caretaker wanting to check her over as they are supposed to do every two hours  I believe.  She did not want to go with him into the bathroom.  But I calmed her down a little and she went along. I am not all that crazy for this either but don't know what I can do about it. We stayed in her room for a while then went into the hall and sat where I give her truffles.  Then back into the community room until it was time for me to go.  She did not want me to go but after a little while I managed to calm her down so I could leave.  The near accident happened on the way back which really woke me up.  The next 3 days I take the shuttle.
