Kay was very bad today. She must have had some sort of mental condition made her understand her mind was going. She could not make it work and think in a normal fashion. Under these circumstances I have to really work to understand what she wants to tell me because she can not say it normally.
When I was in the Army she helped out at the USO.
There she danced with servicemen and other things volunteers did. . One time she said she and a sailor I think she said it was were jitterbugging pretty good and the other dancers cleared floor to watch. The sailor dancing with her asked her if she had tights on. I guess he felt he could do better. So the put on a little show for the spectators.
It must have been at the USO that an owner of an uptown night club saw her and offered her a job dancing there as a Hula dancer. She had taken lessons and knew how. However she passed up the opportunity. This club happened to be on First Avenue just above the waterfront frequented by mostly sailors as this was in wartime. I forget why she said she passed up the opportunity as she was living on 80 bucks a month while I was away. It was considered a dive too however and that might had something to do with it. I cant remember.
All surplus antiques, collectibles and everything not needed for daily living will be disposed of. We want to save our kids from having to decide what to do with it when we die. That is a time of chaos. I am listing everything at http://realancient.blogspot.com free for family and small price to non-family members
