A lousy shuttle performance today I spent about 2 and half hours either waiting or riding it. I am going to try waiting in my room and have the reception desk call me and I then come down. Sometimes I wait 45 minutes for it. They always say they are just out of the "window" which is 30 minutes. Of course when they make a pick up time of say 12:30 we are counting that as the pick up time. They have the schedules days in advance so it is no surprise. The shuttle schedulers almost always wait until the last minute to tell the driver where the next pickup is. In fact the driver was dropping off the guy who was on when I got on and the new pickup came in. Why they do that when they have know it for two days is a mystery to me.
Kay was not in her room but was in someones bed at the end of the hall where I giver her the truffles. So the confusion with truffles might have been factor in her being in someone elses room. I gave her her truffles then took her back to her room and we stayed on her bed until I had to go. I might mention that there is no other place to stay. Possibly sitting on a chair between the two beds. I may start staying in her room and ask Cascade to call me or contact a Caregiver and have that person tell me the shuttle is waiting. They are supposed to wait 5 minutes before leaving. I would have time to get downstairs in 5 minutes. I am disgusted with all the wasted time I could be with her.

you know... I think we have a problem...
You know the song, "Chestnuts Roasting on an open fire" ? Well, I am going to have a problem with this next year. The song lyrics say, in part,
"And so I'm offering this simple phrase To kids from one to ninety-two Although it's been said many times, many ways, Merry Christmas to you"
Does this mean then dad, that next Christmas you don't count ? This sounds like age discrimination ! Now, who do I sue ?
