It just doesn't seem right. I am working on the computer here on Saturday night making a tribute to Kay. I am here. She is there. Able to do nothing. That is the sad part.
I went to see her today and it was about as un-eventual as possible. For once things went smoothly. She was sleeping in a room with quite a few other just sitting there.
among themselves they don't seem to do any talking. They do seem to like to talk to anyone who will talk to them. I took Kay out to the iron chairs and tables. I gave her the usual treats. Then we went back to her room where we lay down and watched the TV. At one time I actually dozed off for just q minute. But enough to make a difference on how I felt. I was up at 4:30 doing the usual things. At the moment I am working on the tribute to her based on the show Phantom of the Opera. Hopefully I can add some subject matter to what the words are being said in the marvelous songs that Webber wrote. The problem in this is by the time you do something that is concrete and move on to something new you have heard it so many times it sort of wears a little thing. What wanted to make you weep with emotion it no longer does that and I think it affects what you want to write down. For instance on the three minutes I finished today I think I put about 10 total hours on it. If I were any good at this it would not take anywhere near that long. What I do is when I try to put something down on what I have been hearing it doesn't affect me that much. That will go for the other things in the Phatom Of the Opera. If anyone wants to hear what this project is all about send me a comment and I will give you the results on DVD when I am finished. Fortunately I have lots of video and still pictures to draw on.
I had a much longer time with her today but it still seemed short. I was there about 1.5 hours. She wanted to sleep so I left her in the bed.

Hi Dad this is George Marshall. It was great speaking with you by phone today (12/4/2013). I took some time after we talked and read the blog, going deeper and deeper. Your "Saturday Visit" post included an invitation to receive your "Phantom of the Opera" DVD when you finish it. Let me know if I can help. I would LOVE one! Also, please remember that your offer to call anytime goes both ways, so please don't hesitate. Merry Christmas I love you.
