This will be an abbreviated update of my effort to get the name of the anesthetist and name of drug used in my eye lid lift back May 2011.  There is an effort to stonewall my learning of who helped the Dr.   do the surgery.  The Dr. at the Emergency read the MRI and Cat Scan.  He said there was no indication of stroke or TIA.  In his report he said I was brought in by the surgery crew consisting of two  doctors, two nurses.  On the other hand he wrote that the name of the requesting physician was unavailable.  Strange.  He  knew who brought me in but not who asked for me to be admitted.
I was brought in by two doctors and two nurses but no one knows who asked for the scans. I am pretty sure he was fairly certain that my problem was due to medical side effects so could send me home with no problems later on. The surgeon does not know what was going on inside my head just before coming out of the anesthetic.  I know that TIA's do not cause what was going on inside  my head before the Dr, was finished with me and asked how many fingers she was holding up.  I had one 2 or 3 years ago.
The doctor at Emergency    was told that I had been operated on for eyelid lift.

I called Insurance company and learned the amount of the dr's bill and am  certain it could not include a couple scans. Something I don't think the hospital knows anything about. Maybe that is what this whole thing is about they gave out a couple free scans.

All I wanted to begin with was the doctors name who gave me the drug and what it was.  I was able to talk to him the day after I came home but at the time I asked out of curiosity and do not remember his name.  I have the name of the drug but am not sure of the spelling  Of course if I try hard enough I should be able to get it. He said he was pretty sure he knew what happened.  I have asked the hospital records dept for what they have for that day from the surgery  clinic. I don't want to go through this when I go through the cataract surgery.  All these records will go with me when I do the arranging.
I am quite certain that the cost of two scans would knock a big hole in any profits the dr might get from the surgery that day

I wrote about the incident the day after the surgery and gave a complete account of the horror I went through because of the medicine used on me.  I don't want it again. I'd like to know too what all this stonewalling is about.
