Kay takes a walk

About 6 AM this morning Kay decided to take a walk.  Down the parking lot in another building a friend of ours preparing to take her dog for a walk looked outside  and saw her .  As this friend knows of Kay's condition she knew she was not supposed to be outside alone.  So this friend got her and brought her back to the apartment.  I was still asleep because I had been up several times during the  night trying to get her over hurting from her acid reflux.  She had burnt an ulcer in her esophagus from acid reflux some years ago and of course it hurts bad when acid gets on it.  I had been a little lax recently I think because she seemed to be getting along so well.  I had not been able to give her the protonix pill every day as I should have done.  This will make me be sure not to get careless about the pill.  She had been up a lot and I think she just decided to go for a walk.  This is a rare occurrence but shows it can happen.  If the neighbor had not seen her she would not been able to find her way home I am sure.
