About a week and a half ago Kay developed a big pain in her back. Excruciating pain. Eventually I got an appointment with an orthopedic doctor because the x-rays didn't show anything. The new Dr. could not find anything either but thought it might be a fracture in a place or so small not visible. So we are now trying to allow it to heal while keeping the pain manageable with pain pills. Dementia is not helped when you are in a lot of pain. Hopefully I can keep her down and let it heal.
